RULE WITH DIGNITY AND HONOUR
The newly elected President of Mass communication Department (MASCA 2022/2023) Mr OLATUNDE OLAMILEKAN OLUWAFIFEHANMI,who is an idealist,realist,opportunist and a musicologist.He loves creativity and a movie writer,he has worked with different Organizations and partially into logistics with Smayors Enterprises.
Furthermore, he aim to create opportunities for the students of mass communication, giving platform for opportunities where an individual can realize what he or she does better and he believes using his weakness during his ND days as a point of strength to the student of mass communication.
There were a lot of challenges but I will brief you with little,the first challenge was creating an awareness to people who don’t know your motive because you really have to prove to them that you are capable of the post you are vying for.
Time was also another challenge during my campaign I missed some test which affected my main priority as a student but my service which is to the great department is also my priority.
I have to sacrifice one for all, compelling people was another challenge most especially if financial topic isn’t involved the audience are not ready to listen to what you have for them, he said.
The post is a good one which made him happy for it is a prestigious post bestowed unto him. It has always been his dream to be the president of this great faculty and this dream didn’t just happen today or yesterday,it’s was his dream since his second year of National diploma so He feel this is the right time he makes it all fulfilled.
His administrative theme is “IAOOMS” with this theme every of his benefit to the department is abbreviated:
I-Inclusivity:making sure every students are included in all the school activity and also a platform where he can serve as the voice of the student
A-Accountability:there will be accountability either educational or financial,propose a calendar that entails every programmer in a session and this will get the student prepared.
Suggestion box:Need to realize the problem the students have and that’s the idea behind the suggestion box. And generally, there will be an educational programme which was mapped before further execution.
There was no confidence that the post was his but he had the believe that he is capable and with his capability he can make this work and build a stronger administration.The dream of being the President of MASCA 2022/2023 was fulfilled.
Being the President is a service, also being a student is a service and it will be balanced, "I should be able to manage my student life and my line as a leader". He said. His tenure will be a good, amazing and an interesting one because the executives have plans for the students.
Lastly,All He can say is no matter how good you are as a leader if your followers are not effective,vibrant and United then you fail as a leader.
The President of MASCA 2022/2023 beseech to all the students,friends,lecturers and other executives for their supports,love and cooperation so together they can achieve all in one fold.
